ESO Blackwood Treasure Map Locations Gates of Oblivion

Blackwood treasure maps in ESO are a part of the Gates of Oblivion adventure, added in early June 2021. There are nine maps you can solve; three are Collector’s edition maps, and six are regular. The maps offer precious little clues as to the location of the treasure. Most of the treasures are found near shores and ruined towers, which ultimately reveals more about the area. In this guide, we’ll show you all Blackwood treasure map locations and their in ESO.

Blackwood CE Treasure Map I – Three Pillars & Stilt House

• The three pillars seen on this Blackwood map are found in a large swamp in the southern part of Blackwood.
• The closest waypoint is Rockgrave trail. It should be marked on the map, and it is the southernmost settlement.
• The dirt mound, or dig spot, is just northeast from the entrance of Rockgrave. Look for the lone stilt house; you can spot it from afar.
• Go in front of the stairs of the stilt house, and you’ll find a small island with some dry tree trunks. The dirt mound is in front of the one that is still vertical.

Blackwood CE Treasure Map II – Between a Large Tree & Ruins

• The second Blackwood Collector’s edition treasure map solution is in northeast of the central part of the area.
• The closest place of interest is a crafting site called Sariellen’s Sword, next to the Hutan-Tzel settlement and its wayshrine.
• The ruins seen on the treasure map are the crafting site, and the dirt mound is on the edge of the water, next to a tall waterfall, east from the site. There is a group of three small trees next to the hidden treasure chest.

Blackwood CE Treasure Map III – Ruined Tower Fort

• The ruined tower fort shown on this Collector’s edition treasure map is located in the northwestern part of Blackwood.
• The closest wayshrine is Fort Redmane, found just south from the fort strategically positioned on the shore. It’s close to the road and the bridge leading to the west.
• If you zoom in on the map just southeast from the Wayshrine, you can spot a small marked fort. The treasure map depicts the south of this spot, and you won’t see it if you come from the north. The dirt mound is in the northwestern corner of the ruined fort, close to a small gap in the wall.

Blackwood Treasure Map I – Fallen Tower

• The fallen tower depicted on this treasure map is in the southwestern part of Blackwood.
• The closest fast travel spot is the Blueblood Wayshrine, found just south from Fort Blueblood. Once in the area, you’ll get to discover an Ayleid Well.
• The dig spot is just a bit to the southwest from the nearby Ayleid Well, in the southeastern corner of a derelict settlement which is also shown on the map. Go for the small “cave” formed by the fallen tower, and you’ll find the prize.

Blackwood Treasure Map III – Fishing House

• The fishing house from the third Blackwood treasure map is located in the southeastern part of Blackwood, along the river, just east from the only world boss in this area.
• The closest fast travel point is the Vunalk Wayshrine, named after the solo dungeon just across the bridge northeast of the travel point. Find the world boss mark just south of the wayshrine, and head east of it, toward the river.
• The fishing house from the treasure map is on the tiny, square-shaped peninsula. From there, you have to follow the coast north, past the tall hill with a tree on top. When you pass by two green vines, you’ll get to the dirt mound lying between the large rock and boulders .
• South of the hidden treasure spot, there is something that resembles a wrecked boat.

Blackwood Treasure Map IV – Tall Building on the Shore

• To get to this spot on the Blackwood treasure map, you’ll have to head to the northern part of the large eastern peninsula.
• The closest fast travel point is a bit further away, to the southeast. It’s called Bloodrun Wayshrine, named after the solo dungeon cave to the north. The closest place of interest is an Ayleid Ruin called Welke, found just to the south.
• The dirt mound and treasure chest location is next to where the river turns into a waterfall. There is a small cave entrance close to the waterfall, leading to room deeper in. Swim to the far end, and once you’re on dry land again, you’ll find the goodies next to some vines.

Blackwood Treasure Map VI – Bridge Tower

• The sixth Blackwood treasure map solution is located at the northernmost part of the area. If you look at the map, you’ll spot a road that takes us out of the map, and the bridge that goes over a river. That bridge is the one shown on the map.
• The closet fast travel point is the Doomvault Vulpinaz Wayshrine, named after the ruins to the north. Simply follow the road and you’ll get to the bridge.
• The exact spot shown on the treasure map is west from the bridge and the nearby daedric ruin. However, the dirt mound is east of the bridge, just between two boulders.

Northern Elsweyr Treasure Map Locations

Northern Elsweyr is a new area in Elder Scrolls Online. It’s part of the Season of the Dragon year-long adventure expansion. There are nine treasure maps in Elsweyr, three of them exclusive to the collectors edition. Once you get a map, you’ll have to find a dirt mound marked on the map and dig out the hidden treasure. In this guide, we’re going to show you all Northern Elsweyr treasure map locations, to help you find the dirt mounds shown on the drawings.

Northern Elsweyr CE Treasure Map I

• Southwestern Elsweyr
• East from Scar’s End Wayshrine and Moon Gate of Anequina, west from the entrance to Trial: Sunspire.
• If you are coming from the west, you’ll notice the exact scene from the treasure map picture. There will be a tiny river next to the main road. The dirt mound is on a small river island with a crooked tree and a patch of purple flowers. There are two harpies here as well.

Northern Elsweyr CE Treasure Map II Location

• Northeastern Elsweyr
• West of Rimmen, east of Sandswirl Manor, north of the Rimmen Masterworks
• Teleport to the Rimmen wayshrine and head out of the city using the western gate. Once you pass the ponds, turn north. When you get to the northern edge of the pond field, stop and face west. You’ll see the scene from the drawing, with the large stone pillar on the right and the mesa with the ruins on top of it on the left. Look for the dig spot to the right of the pillar, where the rock formation ends.

Northern Elsweyr CE Treasure Map III – Where to find?

• Northeastern Elsweyr
• Southeast of Rimmen, east of the Rimmen Necropolis, northeast of the Anequina Acqueduct
• Go to the Rimmen wayshrine and use the southern gate to leave the city. Follow the road to the first crossroads, then head east. Keep going until you hit the mountain. Find a building at the foot of the mountain, go behind it and look north. You’ll see the stone arch pictured on the map. Go under it and turn left, climbing to the ledge marked with the red ink. You’ll find the dig spot at the end of it.

Northern Elsweyr Treasure Map I

• Eastern Elsweyr
• Northeast of Orcrest, southeast of Scar’s Edge, east of Ashen Scar, west from the Rimmen Necropolis
• Spawn at the Hakoshae wayshrine and follow the road west. Turn north when you reach the walls of Orcrest and keep going until the first bend. Look to the east and you’ll spot the ruined wall from the drawing, as well as the big tree. Head towards the wall until you reach the ledge, then look for the dig spot closer to the tree.

Northern Elsweyr Treasure Map II Location

• Northern Elsweyr
• East from the Abode of Ignominy dungeon entrance, north from Star Haven Wayshrine, southwest from Riverhold.
• If you zoom in the camera on this location, southwest from the Riverhold settlement, you’ll notice a small lake. If you pass this lake from the east, you’ll see a large boulder forming an arc, the same one pictured in the clue. There are two larger rocks next to this stone arc passage. The dirt mound is between these three markers, along with the hidden treasure chest waiting to be opened.

Northern Elsweyr Treasure Map III – Two Bridges

• Southwestern central Elsweyr
• South from The Stitches settlement and its Wayshrine, north from Merryvale Farms.
• The two stone bridges from the treasure drawing are found at the crossroads south from the Stitches. If you come here from the east, you can easily spot them. The dirt mound is on top of the platform, south from the two bridges, near the edge overlooking the road. It is somewhat well hidden by the dry grass.

Northern Elsweyr Treasure Map IV – Where to find?

• Southwestern Elsweyr
• Just southeast from the Moon Gate of Anequina striking locale, west from Trial: Sunspire, east from the Scar’s End Wayshrine.
• If you go down the stairs of this striking locale, look to your left. The rock formation painted on the treasure map is across the road, past a tree with a large crown. The mound is just below the largest boulder arc.

Northern Elsweyr Treasure Map V

• Southern Elsweyr
• Southeast from the Red Hands Run group boss, west from the Tenmar Temple Wayshrine, east from Merryvale Farms, northeast from Trial: Sunspire.
• The main clue from the picture is the well, not the wayshrine, as I thought at first. This specific well is south from the Red Hands Run map marker. As you work around the well to find the specific scene from the clue, you’ll spot a tall hill in the distance. The structure on the hill might not be visible from this spot, depending on the limitations of your system. To find the dirt mound, you’ll need to head toward this hill, located just southeast from the well.
• Once on top of the hill, go behind the pointed rock and look for the dirt mound between the four trees. Once you dig it up, it’ll reveal the hidden treasure chest.

Northern Elsweyr Treasure Map VI – Flower Rock

• Eastern central Elsweyr
• East from the Orcrest public dungeon, north from Weeping Scar and Shadow Dance Ruins, west from Hakoshae and its Wayshrine
• To get to this hidden treasure, you need to look at the road north from Shadow Dance Ruins striking locale. When you get there, go to the middle part. This is where you’ll find two pieces of a ruined stone wall. The dirt mound is in the corner of the one close to the large tree, on the ground next to the smaller tree.
