Description

The Magma Village is an island in the First Sea for players from Levels 300 through 375. It is found south of Pirate Village. The Quest NPC on this island is the Mayor, located on the house closest to the bridge. There are three quests on this island. All NPCs here use Aura, except for the Military Soldier which has a chance to spawn without Aura.

Appearance

The island is characterized by a large volcano in the center, with smoke spewing out of the top and a lava river flowing out the side. The front of the island is covered in rocky ground and red trees, with a small village near the dock. Behind the volcano is a raised stone platform that juts out the back of the island.

Notes

• To speed up the grinding process, the player can grind Swan from Levels 300 through 350 instead of the Military Soldier/Spy, and then grind the Magma Admiral to get to Level 375.
• You can now obtain Magma Ore from killing NPCs on this island.
• It is recommended to use Chop or long ranged fruits here, as almost all of the enemies have Aura.
• The Military Soldier NPC’s have a chance to spawn without aura.

Trivia

• The next Island after this is the Underwater City. You have to be level 375 to accept any quests from that island.
• There is an NPC called Living Skeleton who sells a sword called Soul Cane for 750,000 . You can find him in a secret passageway in the volcano.
• You can now obtain Magma Ore from killing NPCs on this island.
• This is the first island to include a surface that damages players (that being the lava river that goes beneath the bridge).
• Unlike the NPC’s prior to this island, every NPC except Military Soldier (which has a chance to not use aura) uses Aura which makes it more tedious for players to grind here.
• Chop is usually recommended when grinding on this island as the NPC’s aura-coated sword will not hit the user.
• When Blox Fruits (Blox Piece) first released, level 300, the level required to go to this island, was the max level.
• You don’t take damage by any lava if you’re using the magma fruit.

The Magma Admiral is a Boss NPC located at the Magma Village in the First Sea. The Magma Admiral uses two moves from the Magma fruit; Magma Fist (C) (Old version; It only shoots a single fist and does not create a magma puddle.) and Magma Column (X). He has 14,750 HP and deals 284 damage for each close-ranged punch attack. He can be found inside the volcano at the island, just a few studs away from a golden treasure chest. The Magma Admiral was added during the First Update of Blox Fruits. His respawn time is 10 mins.

Behavior

Magma Admiral has magma fruit equipped, Which means that physical attacks(Sword, Gun, Fighting Style) can not damage him unless the player has Aura activated.

Attacks

• Magma Fist — Oldest Z move of Magma, he will mostly spam this move. unlike the current Z move, it will launch a magma-coated fist instead of Magma Clap. It deals a decent of amount of damage and also deals knockback to the player if hit.
• Magma Column — Old X move of Magma, he will use this if the player gets close. It also create a rock barrier which prevents the player from running away. This move deals a lot of damage so be careful.

Drops

• The Magma Admiral can drop the Refined Musket (A way stronger version of the Musket.) upon defeat, but the chances for it are uncommon, at around a 10% chance.

Tips

• Currently, the ideal choice of fruit to fight him with is his own Magma fruit, as there is a lava pit in the middle of his base. While using the Magma fruit, the player is immune to magma/lava. Without a Magma fruit equipped, as soon as the player step onto magma, they begin taking a very large amount of damage. A tip to beat him would be to do long-ranged attacks, as his movements and attacks have small AoE(Area of Effect) and range. Keeping at a distance will allow them to dodge more easily.

• Flame is also recommended due to its insane knockback with the X move (Fire Beam). Because of how the arena is shaped, the Magma Admiral will never be flung out of the arena unless he hits a weird spot, but he will respawn into the arena. Also of how the arena is shaped, the user can get some «stuns» that will make him fall to the ground, unable to move for a couple seconds. These moves being the previously mentioned X move (which makes it even better for Magma Admiral), the C move (Fire Column), and the V move (Fire Bomb). However, when he falls to the ground, he can still use his devil fruit powers, so the player shouldn’t too stay close.

• If the user is a sword or melee main, it is recommended they get a decent damage dealing gun (such as Cannon) and purchase Instinct and Flash Step to get away quickly after attacking. However, these will come at a high cost, at a total amount of $850,000.

• They can also just avoid the lava pit, if they have a good fruit for other things or if they just can’t get a Magma fruit. The Magma Admiral can walk into magma without taking damage.
• One method to defeat the Magma Admiral is to try to perform the «Hit and run». It consists of dodging into the Magma Admiral, landing a hit and dodging away before the Magma Admiral reacts and hits the player. If done correctly and efficiently, the player should be able to consistently land hits on the Magma Admiral without it hitting them. (Note: make sure to not run out of energy, otherwise the user won’t be able to dodge. Use Light or Magma due to them having powerful abilities that can counter and destroy this boss)

Trivia

• This boss gives about 8,750 Bounty/Honor upon defeat (Must do at least 10% damage).
• Magma Admiral, Island Empress, and Wysper are the only Bosses to drop Guns upon defeat. (Excluding the Factory Raid).
