Blox Fruits are one of the four main ways to deal damage in the game, along with Fighting Styles, Swords, and Guns.
Blox Fruits are named after what they do and are mysterious fruits that can be found across various locations in the game. When eaten, they grant the consumer a supernatural ability, with each fruit having its own distinct power. In exchange for power, the user cannot swim and will die if they stay in Water for too long. Some Blox Fruits have special abilities that can grant the user certain immunities, or create detrimental weaknesses. They are the main, core mechanism of the game, as well as being represented as the game title, hence Blox Fruits.
These are the main ways to obtain Blox Fruits, that includes:
- Doing the most damage in a Factory raid
- Defending Castle on the Sea from pirates and dealing the final blow on the last enemy.
- Defeating the Brigade during the Ship Raid at a low chance.
- Picking up fruits that spawn hourly, or 45 minutes in the weekends.
- Buying a fruit from the Blox Fruit Dealer or the Blox Fruit Gacha
There also some arbitrary ways of obtaining Blox Fruits, including:
- Buying a Permanent Blox Fruit from the Blox Fruit Dealer or from the in-game shop.
- Trading for fruits in either The Café or Mansion.
- Being Gifted a Permanent Blox Fruit by a friend or random player.
- Purchasing a PhysicalKilo Fruit from Wenlock at a cost of 97 . (Not recommended)
- Find or take a Blox Fruit fruit that someone dropped.
- Buy fruit notifier game pass at a cost of 2700 , which makes finding fruits easier
As of Update 17.3.5, there are currently 35 fruits in the game, including:

Notes
- Dropped fruits will not despawn.
- Once a player stores a fruit, they cannot drop it.
- Fruits purchased with are permanent and can be equipped from either the Blox Fruits Dealer or the Menu at any time, while Fruits bought with are not permanent.
- You can remove your fruit by going to the Remove Blox Fruit NPC found in the Prison in the First Sea and the Castle on the Sea in the Third Sea, although this isn’t recommended.
- Permanent fruits can be traded like game passes. To do so, players must select the «Store in Inventory» option under the «Gift» tab.
- The mastery of a fruit will remain consistent regardless of whether the fruit is replaced. The same goes for its awakened moves, which can be changed with the Awakenings Expert NPC.
- Players cannot trade permanent fruits or game passes that have already been used, just like with fruits that are being used.
- Sand takes double the damage when submerged in water.
- Smoke and Blizzard are the only two Elemental fruits without an awakening.
- Dough is the only Mythical fruit with an awakening.
- Being a member of Shark reduces damage taken in the water.
- Being V2 or higher nullifies the damage.
- Fruits in the Second Sea or Third Sea can be exchanged for certain items, events, or quests.
- Buying a fruit with Money from the Blox Fruit Dealer NPC will replace the currently equipped fruit.
- If a player takes out a stored fruit and someone kills them, they will lose the fruit, but the enemy will not get the fruit.
- Some fruits such as Ice and Magma v2 allows the users to walk on water, this does not mean that they ignore damage received by the sea, such as being pushed underwater.
- Buddha V2’s Transformation is enough to not be fully submerged under water when standing, nullifying damage from the sea, unless also pushed underwater.
- Many fruits have «F» movements that do damage, such as Rumble, Venom, Shadow, Smoke, Blizzard, Dough V2, Magma, Leopard, Phoenix V2, Portal, Bomb, Rubber, and Buddha V2.
Trivia
- It would cost 49,255 to buy every permanent fruit, and 48,282,500 to buy every fruit.
- Including the old or removed fruits, the new price batch would be 54,132,500 or even 55,005 .
- Most Bosses from First to Second seas use the older versions of their fruits.
- Don Swan is the only one who uses Spider with its updated moveset.
- Many Blox Fruit moves have Destructible Physics, as with many other types of attacks.

Rarities
Rarities [ ]
Item rarities dictate how difficult it is to obtain an item, and often, how powerful it is. They are applied to Blox Fruits, Swords, Guns, Materials, and Accessories. There are five in total, with each tier becoming progressively more rare. They are listed below, in order of least rare to most rare.
Rarity | Description |
---|---|
Common | These items are usually very cheap, and also quite weak. |
Uncommon | These items are still relatively weak, but are a bit rarer and more potent. |
Rare | Moderate power, but not as hard hitting as the higher tiers. |
Legendary | These items are quite strong, good for all activities. |
Mythical | The rarest in the game, and are incredibly powerful. |

Common (Gray) [ ]
Common items are typically obtained as items for new players early on in the game, they are not usually used for very long, and are generally considered to be the worst items in the game. These items will almost always have much lower stats compared to their rarer counterparts, and have the most basic models in the game. Given that these are used primarily in the First Sea, which has basic design itself, this is somewhat reasonable.
Blox Fruits [ ]
There are 7 Common Fruits: Kilo, Spin, Chop, Spring, Bomb, Smoke, and Spike.
Most of these are quite bad for any activity, although Spin and Spring have some potential for mobility. Additionally, the Elemental effect of Smoke gives it some use for grinding, although most players will prefer to use a fruit with more powerful moves.
